Raiders took phones from bedroom as couple slept

BURGLARS stole mobile phones from a bedroom while a couple slept, a court heard.

The devices were on charge when two raiders entered through an unlocked door and stole the phones next to the sleeping couple.

James Finley, 42, of no fixed address, admitted two offences of burglary when he appeared at Grimsby Crown Court.

Prosecuting, Blaise Morris said the first offence was at Central Community Centre in Lindum Street, Scunthorpe, on February 4 last year.

Finley smashed a glass panel of a doorway and searched the inside of an office where a filing cabinet was forced open.
