Wales at big risk of leaving the UK, says First Minister

PEOPLE should wake up to the threat of the UK breaking apart, First Minister of Wales Eluned Morgan has warned.

It comes amid growing fears in Labour circles that pro-independence Plaid Cymru will take power in the May Welsh election.

When asked if Sir Keir Starmer will be PM by the end of the year, Ms Morgan said: "I do think there will be pressure on the prime minister inevitably if Labour performs badly."
