Defence plan 'will put focus on jobs'

BRITISH jobs and skills will be at the heart of a sweeping Defence Industrial Strategy to be launched this week.
Five new Defence Technical Excellence Colleges will be created to train the workforce needed for the future.
The plan, backed by a £182million investment, is designed to equip young people, veterans and mid-career workers with skills ranging from submarine engineering to cyber warfare.
