O'Hora: Stick from fans is healthy – it drives us on

WARREN O'HORA heard the reaction from the disgruntled Hibs fans - but admits he'd be more concerned if they didn't make their feelings clear.

Boos greeted the final whistle on Saturday after blunt Hibs failed to break down basement side Livingston - who collected a first clean sheet in 26 games - in the flat goalless draw.

It was a chance missed to cut the gap on fourth-place Motherwell to four points in the race for automatic European qualification.

But stand-in captain O'Hora insists the high expectation from the fans is "healthy" and is driving the players on to meet the standards required at Easter Road.

Defender O'Hora said: "Our fans have been amazing, brilliant all season.

"But of course they felt the frustration just like we did on the pitch, that's normal especially at a club of this size.

"And it's healthy to have that kind of expectation.

"We were expected to win and that's fair.

"That's part of why we're here, to fight for strong league positions and to be expected to win certain games we play.

"We've got the quality in the dressing room to do that.

"It was a good performance overall but it was just that final bit that let us down and we'll work on it during the week.

"We will take the clean sheet, take the positives and move on.

DIVING IN TO A NEW WAY OF LIFE

EVER dowsed for water? You know, where you walk slowly across open land, holding a bit of forked willow, or metal rods - or a pendulum, assuming you've one to hand - and trust it to tell you where there's underground water to be found.
