Miller backs leaders to power into 2026

- BY SCOTT BURNS

IF HEARTS can keep themselves in the title race until January then Lee Miller reckons they could really bloom.

The former Jambo is not surprised with the impact that Derek McInnes has had with the table-toppers.

They have gone through the first quarter unbeaten and are seven points clear of second-placed Celtic.

Miller reckons they can go the distance and that McInnes will be backed big-time by James Anderson and Tony Bloom and company if they have a genuine chance of bagging the title in the winter window.

He said: “It's mad to think, but I think it obviously benefits the fact that Celtic and Rangers are going through a difficult spell right now, changing managers and with different styles of play.

“Players coming in and out and that’s just fallen into the hands of Hearts and they've taken advantage of that.

“We all know and expect Celtic to go again.
