Wilson appeals to fans to stay for campaign

MARK WILSON has urged the Jags fans to stay on board for the promotion push after being roared on against big guns Celtic.

The champions had too much for Partick in the Premier Sports Cup but the punters turned out in huge numbers for the clash.

Wilson's men are bang in the hunt in the Championship and he is hoping the supporters will stay for the ride.

He said: "They were brilliant today and I guess that's what I was pleased with most, because I took this competition really seriously in terms of how we selected the team to progress from the group.

“By the time we got to here, there was a few more bums on seats and of course it was packed today.
