Tree wrecked their home... but pub couple aren't bitter
A COUPLE whose home was destroyed by Storm Goretti have moved into their local Wetherspoons.
Catherine and Harold Mills, 86 and 84, used to the visit the pub once a week for a meal and glass of wine.
So when a huge pine smashed through their flat in Camborne, Cornwall, they knew exactly where they wanted to stay.
They spent their first night at The John Francis Basset pub and hotel on January 9 and are still there six weeks later. Every day they enjoy a cooked breakfast and dinner, paid for by their insurance firm Ventis.
