Warning to tourists as Etna erupts

TOURISTS flocking to Sicily to see the latest eruption of Mount Etna have been warned of the dangers.

The volcano began to spew out large plumes of ash and smoke back in June and has remained active throughout the summer.

Now some spectacular lava flows have begun to make their way down the steep sides of the mountain, attracting volcano enthusiasts from around the world.
