Woman had alcohol before crash
A BRITISH backpacker faces up to 20 years in an Australian jail after pleading guilty to causing the death of a dad while riding an e-scooter.
Alicia Kemp, 25, was over the legal alcohol limit when she crashed into Thanh Phan, 51, in Perth’s city centre on May 31.
Yesterday she appeared at Perth Magistrates' Court via video-link from prison, charged with dangerous driving causing death while under the influence of alcohol.
