TUCHEL WANTS ENGLAND TO PLAY WITH JOY, NOT WITH FEAR

THOMAS TUCHEL has promised to make England exciting again after claiming they froze at the Euros.

Tuchel says England were gripped by fear at last summer's tournament because they lost their “hunger” to win and were weighed down by the pressure.

England reached the final of Euro 2024 but froze on the day and lost to Spain in former boss Gareth Southgate’s last game in charge.

“They were more afraid to drop out of the tournament in my observation than having the excitement and hunger to win it," said Tuchel, above.

The England boss now says his mission is to bring back the joy and entertainment to help turn his squad into winners ahead of next year's World Cup.
