Top Scots cop: Remain alert - but not alarmed

POLICE Scotland has said the public should remain “alert and vigilant” after the horrific attack on Jewish worshippers at a synagogue in Manchester.

Assistant Chief Constable Stuart Houston said there was “no intelligence to suggest any specific threat in Scotland” in the wake of the attack on Yom Kippur but warned against complacency.

Islamic terrorist Jihad Al-Shamie drove a car at members of the public before stabbing people at the Heaton Park synagogue. Two men died and three were left with serious injuries.
