RUGBY STAR ADMITS IT'S 'PUT A SPRING IN HER STEP'

- By Tom Bryant

WHEN Chris Robshaw stepped on to the Strictly dance floor dressed as Marvel hero Thor, he sent his wife’s pulse racing as well as making his fans hot under the collar.

The former England rugby captain has confessed his other half - opera star Camilla Kerslake — loved his latest costume so much that she begged him to bring it home.

Not least to also entertain their sons Wilding, four, and 15-month-old Hunter. Laughing Chris, 39, said: “I think she might be the Strictly wardrobe team's biggest fan!

“She made me bring my Thor outfit home after last weekend and the see-through shirt too.

“My wife is loving this new side of me that’s slowly coming out. Let’s just say it’s put a spring in her step after more than 10 years together.”

There’s little chance of the couple, who married in 2018, being struck by the show’s famous curse.

Chris said if fans think there’s chemistry between him and his professional partner Nadiya Bychkova then they are doing their job. And Camilla, 37, is their No1 supporter.

The singer is so involved in his time on the show that she has been helping him practise his routines around the house. Chris explained: “Camilla’s been amazing and loves it when Nadiya teaches me stuff and I can go home and show her.

'She loves it. Any of the lifts I learn I'm trying to throw her around the kitchen’

“So any of the lifts I learn, she loves to get involved. I’m basically trying to throw her around the kitchen like we’re on the dance floor.
