ST MIRREN, BRUGGE, CELTIC... NONE OF THESE ARE CRITICAL MATCHES

RUSSELL MARTIN insists he has the full backing of Rangers' board and claims none of their next three games are "critical".

Martin is already feeling the heat after failing to win his first two Premiership games and losing 3-1 at home to Club Brugge in Tuesday's Champions League playoff first leg.

But the manager insists the outcomes of tomorrow's game at St Mirren, Wednesday's Euro return leg in Belgium and next Sunday's derby against Celtic at Ibrox aren't "season-defining".

Martin said: "We have a big week with three games that are going to be important. But none are season-defining. None are critical. They're important for us in our process and trying to improve.
