THE SNP has unveiled its slate of budding MSP candidates including 10 former MPs and two current Westminster parliamentarians.

The three Nats who faced internal challenges all won comfortably, with Colin Beattie, Ben McPherson and Colette Stevenson set to seek five more years at Holyrood.

Westminster leader Stephen Flynn will stand in Aberdeen Deeside & North Kincardine. MP Stephen Gethins also seeks a move to Holyrood despite only being re-elected in July 2024.
