SNP cannot dodge hospital scandal

THE scandal at Glasgow’s Queen Elizabeth University Hospital (QEUH) is one of the most serious ever to hit the NHS, and the failure to address it has been a damning indictment of the SNP.

For more than a decade, the health board and SNP ministers have known about concerns over contaminated water at QEUH.

Medical staff whistleblowers raised the issue but, it has been admitted, were treated so badly it had an impact on their wellbeing.

The treatment of victims and their families was even more disgraceful.
