Boyd insists Ibrox issues are squad-deep
KRIS BOYD reckons Rangers managers are being hung out to dry by slackers on the park.
The former Ibrox star insists the sight of players constantly making the same mistakes goes beyond pointing the finger of blame at the man in the dugout.
And while individual talents can win games, Boyd knows it takes a team to win trophies and that's why he is questioning the unity in the dressing room.
Having taken over the reins from the axed Philippe Clement in February, interim boss Barry Ferguson was again left tearing his hair out at errors during last weekend's 2-2 draw at St Mirren. He suggested after that match that his players simply weren't heeding his instructions.
Boyd, below, reckons the manner of goals being conceded backs up that admission and feels it can't just be put down to the current regime.
He said: "If you're a coach or a manager and you're trying to work on things during the week but then they're not being implemented at the weekend, you would be frustrated.
"You would think to yourself, 'What is the point?' And that's where he's at.
"You look at the amount of goals conceded that are the same type. You look at the goals Rangers have lost against some of the opposition.
"It is scary and it tells you they clearly don't listen.
