One-to-one coaching pays off as Benjamin strikes to seal thrilling win

- MICHAEL CARRICK

MICHAEL CARRICK revealed Benjamin Sesko is reaping the benefits of one-to-one coaching after the Slovenian's dramatic late winner made it three victories in a row for Manchester United.

Sesko came off the bench to seal a thrilling win for United after Fulham had looked like wrecking Carrick's dream start as boss by roaring back from two goals down at Old Trafford.

And a delighted Carrick claimed their £73million summer signing can now start living up to his hefty price tag after working with first-team coach Travis Binnion to fine tune his game.

"Huge moment," said Carrick of Sesko’s clincher. “It's the best feeling. Everyone in the changing room, players, staff, absolutely delighted for him and the reception he got when he came back in the changing room kind of told us everything.

"He’s been bright in training, he’s looked dangerous, he’s done extra.
