However, Saints fumed post-match at the VAR intervention which cost them a huge chance to win the contest.

Having already scored to have his side 2-1 up ahead in the dramatic clash with Derek McInnes’ team, Freckleton then slammed home a rebound after his initial header from a Declan John free-kick bounced against a post and dropped back into his path.
