AS Tuur Rommens's gaffer, Issame Charai loved what the left-back was about. And the former Rangers coach reckons it won't be long before the Ibrox crowd take their new signing to their hearts too.

was convinced from the first moment to come here. The conversations with the coach were good. It was about how the team played and why he thinks I'm a good fit for this team.

“It's very important to feel that he believes in me because that gives you more confidence to play.

“I knew this was a big club with a lot of fans and they always play European football. So it was very easy for me to make this choice.

“It's a great time to join this club because they're doing well now.”

Rommens is fully fit but, after recovering from a previous knock, it's understood that Rohl will manage his game-time over the next few weeks and ease him into the Rangers side.
