Robbo seeking a second coming for Saints

STEPHEN ROBINSON believes he witnessed some signs of recovery in his St Mirren side ahead of their second game against Livingston in four days.

Malik Dijksteel scored the winning penalty in the Buddies' Scottish Cup tie against Livi in West Lothian on Saturday to seal a 4-3 shootout success after the match had ended 1-1.

The two teams have a quick reunion at the same venue tonight, this time on Premiership business, with Robinson looking to improve their recent record of four defeats and a draw in their last five league games, which has left them 10th in the table.

And the Northern Irishman yesterday reflected on the positives from the weekend win that he wants to carry forward.
