Ex-Killie bosses also quick with calls of support
UP FOR THE CHALLENGE Neil McCann is determined to help steer Killie out of danger
NEIL McCANN'S phone has been ringing off the hook with calls from men who found a way to crack it with Kilmarnock.
Now he hopes to do the same and help the club dial back into their stay-away supporters.
McCann has taken on a huge challenge as he looks to steer the Ayrshire outfit away from relegation trouble.
Sitting only four points above Saturday's opponents Livingston and having played a game more, he'll need all the help he can get - and that goes for off the pitch as well as on it.
But with average crowds at Rugby Park hovering just above the 6,000 mark - the lowest they've been in the top flight since Covid - McCann realises it's down to his team to reengage the punters.
However, the former TV pundit has already had plenty offers of advice - and few know better how to connect with the Killie faithful than former bosses who were quickly on the blower after his announcement as Rugby Park gaffer.
