Rain may scupper Turgeon’s Becher Chase bid
DAVID PIPE has warned the well-backed King Turgeon is not a certain runner in Aintree’s William Hill Half A Mill Becher Handicap Chase.
The 2024 Grand Sefton hero has halved in price to 10-1 for Saturday’s race over the famous National fences.
But Pipe, who landed the 2016 and 2020 runnings with course specialist Vieux Lion Rouge, is wary of the wet weather forecast.
