SIR Michael Palin says he has been coaxed out of a theatrical hiatus by the one writer he can not say no to, Mackenzie Crook.

The Monty Python legend last worked with the actor-turned-director on his 2019 reboot of Worzel Gummidge.

And the pair have reunited for Small Prophets, Sir Michael’s first major comedy series since Ripping Yarns in the late 1970s.
