Calcutta Cup effort must be repeated when facing Welsh
GREGOR BROWN reckons that Scotland need to prove their win against England was no flash in the pan by going out and doing the same against Wales on Saturday in Cardiff.
The Glasgow forward played the full 80 minutes at Murrayfield three days ago as his team beat the Auld Enemy 31-20. It was a brilliant performance by Scotland, who bounced back in style from their 18-15 loss to Italy a week earlier.
And Brown, 24, thinks his team can keep on improving as they aim to mount a challenge for the Six Nations title.
He said: "We knew that Rome wasn't a true reflection of ourselves and that we were better than that.
"We knew that we had way more in the tank, and wanted to play a different kind of game.
"And so it was really great to put that into play against England. It was awesome.
