McCULLUM MANTRA IS STARTING TO FREE WILL UP

WILL JACKS is enjoying his cricket again and fully embracing the “have fun” mantra of England head coach Brendon McCullum.

The Surrey star was dropped midway through last year’s T20 World Cup and then left out for a disappointing 2025 Champions Trophy campaign.

Since then, Test chief ‘Baz’ McCullum, below, has been handed the white-ball reins and Jacks, who was recalled against West Indies this summer, has taken on board his key message to enjoy his cricket and keep making runs for his county and, in the Hundred, Oval Invincibles.

Of McCullum, Jacks said: “He's a very good communicator and instills a lot of confidence in the team.
