Newcastle twice roared back before the break thanks to a brace from Anthony Elanga, as they threatened to cause a major upset in the Nou Camp yesterday evening.

But, after Lamine Yamal converted from the spot deep into first-half added time, Barca emerged after the break to blow away the Magpies with four unanswered goals.

"I don't think we recovered psychologically from the penalty at halftime," said Howe.
