There really is no hiding place for Steve Clarke when Scotland are serving up a stinker at the national stadium.

And boy was Thursday's game against Greece a case in point.

It was a lonely looking head coach who watched his players struggle to grab any sort of foothold on the park and anxiety levels went through the roof in the stands.

But Clarke knows he has a team that has his back, on and off the park.

After pulling off a remarkable smash and grab raid, Clarke highlighted the character of the troops he's placed his faith in for the vast majority of his six years in charge.
