Best friend keeps his promise with ultimate lifesaving gift
KIDNEY patient James Walker has had his life saved by his closest friend who donated one of his.
He was rescued by best man Keith, who is also godfather to his daughter.
James had been in London in 2020 to mark the birth of a granddaughter but found he needed a triple bypass. With that and lockdown, he was stuck in the capital for six months and medics saw his kidneys were struggling.
