Hope for us all after Jen finds new friend

AMID fears of imminent armageddon, heatwaves heralding global warming and many flinging the phrase “broken Britain” into chitchat as if reporting a proven fact, I am expending too much energy worrying about Jennifer Aniston.

I’ve never met her. Her Friends costar Courteney Cox did once descend upon the Big Breakfast bed. She was a touch testy and — ironically — not the friendliest guest. Ms Aniston, on the other hand, is one of the world’s most celebrated, lavishly remunerated and universally adored human beings.
