Time to build on a battling last-four loss

DEFIANT Ross Thompson is sure Edinburgh can pick themselves up quickly from their defeat by Bath at the weekend as they look forward to two vital URC games.

Thompson and his team need to beat Connacht away this Saturday and then Ulster at home a week later to keep their playoff hopes alive.

And, despite the disappointment of losing to runaway English Premiership leaders Bath in the Challenge Cup semi-final two days ago, the stand-off is certain his team have the quality needed to get into the top eight.

He said: "I don't think it's hard to pick ourselves up at all.
