- By David Yates

GOSDEN'S GOLD STAR

FIELD OF GOLD is as short as 5-2 favourite to give John Gosden a first 2,000 Guineas victory after running away with Newmarket’s Craven Stakes.

The grey son of Gosden’s 2014 Guineas runner-up Kingman came from last to first under Kieran Shoemark to land the bet365-sponsored Group 3 trial by an impressive three and a half lengths from Wimbledon Hawkeye.
