Roisin Conaty is back to co-host the hit show in which top comics try to make each other laugh without cracking up themselves

Comedy is a serious business and never more so than in Prime Video's Last One Laughing.

The show, hosted by Jimmy Carr and Roisin Conaty, became a talking point with six million views for Prime Video last year as Bob Mortimer beat Richard Ayoade in a major showdown to win the crown. Now it's back for series two with a new cast, but Roisin admits she feared they wouldn't be able to recreate the magic of series one.

"The first series was so good and so brilliant and everyone was so excited," says Roisin. "Then obviously it's like, 'Oh is it going to be the difficult second album?' But immediately when it started, I was like, 'Oh, it's great!' It's so fun to watch it all."

This time, David Mitchell, Diane Morgan, Romesh Ranganathan, Alan Carr, Mel Giedroyc, Amy Gledhill, Maisie Adam, Gbemisola Ikumelo and Sam Campbell will all compete to make each other laugh, while avoiding laughing themselves. The last one to crack a smile is declared the winner.
