Smith insists Hibs excited to scrap it out with Danes
HIBS keeper Jordan Smith expects a tear-up as Midtiylland roll up at Easter Road to battle for a place in the next round of the Europa League.
The qualifier is evenly poised after David Gray’s men secured a 1-1 draw in Denmark.
It sets up a winner-takes-all clash in the capital tomorrow to earn a crack at Norwegian side Fredrikstad in the third qualifying round.
Smith said: “The boys are really excited to get back to Easter Road and have a tear-up!
“Under the lights is always special there and I'd like to think we'll be backed by the fans to the absolute hilt.
“It should be near enough full, if not completely sold out.
“So it will certainly be one to look forward to, especially with it being all to play for.”
The Englishman knows the job is only half-done despite pulling off a terrific result last week against a Danish side with Champions League pedigree.
