GERS EYES ON RYAN AS DANILO SET TO MOVE ON

RANGERS are weighing up a move for German striker Ryan Naderi - while Dutch side NEC Nijmegen prepare to offer out-of-favour Ibrox frontman Danilo an Ibrox escape route.

Gers boss Danny Rohl is eager to sign another goalscorer having watched Youssef Chermiti, Bojan Miovski and Danilo all fail to prove themselves as dependable marksmen.

And Express Sport understands that Light Blues chiefs are now pondering a move for Hansa Rostock talisman Naderi. Reports in Germany last night said Gers had moved ahead with a £2.6million offer but Ibrox sources insist at this point the 22-year-old is still only being assessed.

Rohl is determined to beef up his forward options for the title race run-in.

Chermiti and Miovski cost Gers almost £11m combined from Everton and Girona in the summer, while Danilo's capture from Feyenoord in 2023 could have hit £6m with add-ons.
