Four held in spy swoops after Jews monitored

FOUR men have been arrested on suspicion of spying for Iran, targeting locations and people with Jewish links.

The Metropolitan Police said the suspects, one Iranian and three dual British-Iranian nationals, have been held on accusations of assisting a foreign intelligence service.

The force said the men, aged 22, 40, 52 and 55, were arrested in Harrow and Barnet, in London, and in Watford shortly after 1am yesterday.

It is understood a member of the Jewish community had tipped off the Met.
