Dee chief asks Swinney to fix stadium red tape

DUNDEE managing director John Nelms has taken his fight all the way to the First Minister in a bid to speed up the club's move to a new stadium.

Construction of the Camperdown complex, which includes a 12,500-seater stadium, has been hampered by red tape, prompting Nelms to write to John Swinney and other leading politicians.

Nelms insists Dundee have done everything they can at their end. However, Transport Scotland are not satisfied with two proposals for road access.

Things are not going fast enough for the American's liking and the projected £100million cost is increasing with every day.

Nelms said: "We've done everything we can.
