FIREFIGHTERS have again reiterated their warnings to the public over the “extreme” risk of wildfires across Scotland this weekend.
It comes as emergency services were called out to yet another blaze which saw flames of up to two metres high along its quarter-of-a-mile length.
Firefighters have already extinguished a wildfire which broke out near Bonhill in West Dunbartonshire on Wednesday and another which started in the Kilpatrick Hills near Milngavie in East Dunbartonshire on Tuesday.

The latest incident occurred on Gartur Moss, Port of Menteith, when the alarm was raised just before 12.30pm on Wednesday. Four fire engines were still at the scene yesterday morning.
