Ex-MP: Chemsex parties helped me form policy

FORMER MP Crispin Blunt has been fined £1,200 for possessing illegal drugs after telling a court he hosted “chemsex" parties at his home to help inform government policy.
The ex-justice minister, 65, admitted one charge of having Class A drugs and three of Class B substances yesterday.
In a speech of over half an hour before Westminster magistrates, he hit out at the decision to prosecute him and suggested all drugs should be legal.
Blunt said he first took an interest in drugs policy on being made a justice minster in Tory David Cameron's government.
"Firsthand experience” helped with his campaign for policy reform, he told police.
