HARMISON BACKS CRAWLEY TO COPE

- BY FELIX KEITH

Don't duck out, Zak, stick with attack

STEVE HARMISON has urged Zak Crawley to stick to his guns in the second Ashes Test, despite his failures in Perth.

Crawley was out for a pair as England made a terrible start to the series Down Under.

The opener lasted just 11 balls - six in the first innings, five in the second - as Mitchell Starc dismissed him both times.

His loose shots were symptomatic of England's batting as they were rolled over.

But 2005 Ashes hero Harmison (above) believes Crawley has enough about him to cope when the second Test begins in Brisbane next week.

“Are there better players than Zak Crawley in this country? People will argue yes.” said Harmison. “The beauty about Zak, and why I like Zak, is he's got a very good temperament.
