Barlaser: Things are hotting up for on-fire Hibs
Dan Barlaser wins the ball in a challenge with Stuart Armstrong
DAN BARLASER reckons Hibs are starting to fire and there will be plenty more time to enjoy Sunshine on Leith in 2026.
The capital side signed off last year with big home wins over Hearts last weekend and then Aberdeen on Tuesday night.
Those results saw the fifth-placed Hibees strengthen their grip on a top-six spot and kept the heat on the teams above them in the Premiership title race.
Midfielder Barlaser reckons his team have been consistent this season but are only now getting past their scoring struggles — netting three against the Jambos and two in beating the Dons.
The on-loan Middlesbrough player said: “It’s important now to build momentum, but we've been actually quite consistent with performances in general.
“I just think we haven't been ourselves in front of goal, up until the last two games.
“But we're scoring quite a few goals now, so it seems like it’s gelling a bit more.
