Clarks sheds 1,200 workers amid sales slump

CLARKS slashed its workforce by 1,200 as sales slid by almost £100million last year, its latest accounts show.

The shoe retailer reported a revenue of £901.3m for 2024/25, down from the £994.5m of the previous year, while head count fell from 7,413 to 6,161.
