Celts' £5m Frim bonus

CELTIC have banked around £5.5million after Liverpool completed the £29.5m signing of their former defender Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen last night.
The 24-year-old Dutch international wing-back penned a six-year deal at Anfield.
Celtic are due 30% of Leverkusen's profits thanks to a sell-on clause inserted in the deal that took Frimpong to the Bundesliga club in 2021.
Frimpong, who spent 18 months at Parkhead, is viewed as the long-term successor to Trent Alexander-Arnold, who will leave Liverpool for Real Madrid tomorrow.
