He accuses them of ‘lies’ and ruining his wedding

BROOKLYN Beckham last night launched an astonishing attack on his family — accusing them of controlling him for his “entire life” and of ruining his wedding.

In a bombshell online statement running to six pages, David and Victoria’s eldest child tore into them for putting “Brand Beckham” above him and his wife Nicola.

The ex-photographer made astonishing allegations about his Spice Girl mum at his 2022 wedding — claiming she humiliated him by dancing “inappropriately” with him during what was meant to be his first dance with his actress bride.

Brooklyn, 26, said he was speaking up to counter the “lies” he claimed his parents were responsible for putting in the public domain to “preserve their own facade”.

He wrote: “I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I'm standing up for myself for the first time in my life. For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family. The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into.”

Brooklyn claimed his parents had been “trying endlessly to ruin” his relationship with billionaire’s daughter Nicola in the run-up to their wedding and confirmed longstanding rumours that his fashion designer mum had “cancelled making Nicola’s dress in the eleventh hour despite how excited she was to wear her design”.
