Boy, six, among dead as Putin strikes target Kyiv

MOSCOW mercilessly pounded Ukraine’s capital with missiles and drones overnight killing at least eight people - including a six-year-old boy and his mother.

At least 135 others were injured as 27 locations across Kyiv were hit, officials said.

Mayor Vitali Klitschko said 12 children were wounded - the largest number of youngsters hurt in Kyiv in one night since the full-scale war began three years ago.

Russia’s blitz was the biggest since Donald Trump’s threat to impose tougher sanctions if Kremlin despot Vladimir Putin does not agree a ceasefire by August 8.
