NOTTINGHAM OPEN queen Katie Boulter set up a battle of Britain with Sonay Kartal after crushing world No. 44 Lulu Sun.
Boulter, aiming for a hat-trick of victories at the tournament, opened her defence with a 6-2 6-2 victory.
New Zealander Sun, who beat Emma Raducanu on her way to the Wimbledon quarter-finals last year, was swatted aside to delight Boulter's army of East Midlands fans.
