Blair blasts Miliband's net zero push

TONY Blair's think-tank has savaged Ed Miliband's net zero energy policy - accusing the minister of engaging in “climate theatre”.

The Tony Blair Institute for Global Change is pushing for a U-turn on the government's ban on new exploration licences in the North Sea.

It says Britain needs an energy policy which is focused on delivering “affordable” and “abundant” electricity. The TBI states that cheap power is a foundation of growth.
