A MAJOR US-based drinks company has been acquired by one of Scotland’s most-popular distillers.
The New York Distilling Company has become part of the Loch Lomond Group, adding to its already extensive portfolio of premium names including American whiskey brands. The takeover announcement follows confirmation that a new distillery and visitor centre will open next month at Luss on the loch’s bonny banks.
