ARTIFICIAL intelligence is speeding up stroke care for thousands of patients by helping doctors spot deadly clots in just minutes.
Medics examine new scan results
The Brainomix 360 imaging tool reviews CT scans, identifying key features of a stroke to quickly show which patients would benefit from a procedure to remove a clot.
It has been rolled out at more than 70 NHS hospitals since January 2022.
A study found around 15,000 patients have had their scans checked with the technology.
