Chandler Moore & Naomi Raine leave Maverick City to focus on solo ministries

Few names have had more of an immediate impact on contemporary worship than Chandler Moore and Naomi Raine. Their voices, authenticity, and exquisite songwriting helped anchor the identity of Maverick City Music. But on October 6, 2025, both artists shared emotional announcements: they would be stepping away from the collective.

Their departures mark both an end and a beginning — closing a chapter of shared history, while opening space for new individual ministry paths. In parallel Instagram statements, Raine and Moore expressed how deeply intertwined their lives had been with Maverick City, and how prayer, season, and vision had shaped their decisions to leave.

Naomi Raine reflected on the journey from “a group of folks singing in a shed” to a global movement. She referenced her exit not as an ending, but as a “new beginning” in which she remains committed to writing, worship leading, and serving.
