A TRAINEE accountant at KPMG South Africa who triggered a global debate by warning colleagues of an impending ‘rapture’ has spoken publicly for the first time since her prediction failed to materialise.
Mahlatse Letoka, whose mass internal email claimed the biblical event would occur between September 23 and 24, broke her silence this week after the forecasted date passed without incident.
In a message shared on social media, Letoka sought to clarify her stance.
